64% of university students have reported feeling lonely when moving to a new environment for their studies. The social and relational struggles that young people face nowadays impacts not only their mental health but also their academic and professional performance. Twinkle is an app for students and young people under 26 that uses a psychology-based matchmaking system. Twinkle uses a matching system based on the MBTI ( Myers–Briggs Type Indicator) personality type. The MBTI personality type is defined by 4 factors : the openness, the intuition, the decision-making and the perception of the users. Once the personality type is defined, the algorithm matches them with people that have a compatible personality type.
